Laboratory Testing
There are two options for obtaining necessary blood tests: with insurance coverage and without insurance coverage. In many cases, blood tests may be covered by your PPO or insurance company as an “out of network provider,” so call your provider to check your coverage. The prices listed below are for people without insurance, or their insurance will not cover laboratory testing. In some cases, patients can get reimbursement for laboratory testing through employer sponsored Health Care Reimbursement Account (flex plans & cafeteria plans) and Health Savings Accounts. Check with your HR department for reimbursement details. If you have any other questions call Dr. Maki’s office at 415-655-1212
